How can an Interior Designer help you?

Every Interior Designer works in a slightly different way, so this blog post simply outlines the ways in which I can help you. This is part of the reason that this industry can be so misunderstood - clients will engage with one Interior Designer who may cater to a different type of client, then said client feels that they shouldn't engage in the industry and this isn't the case. It's about finding the Interior Design that caters to your needs, style, project, budget, and timeframe. 

All the different names can also be a little misleading and confusing at times - do you need a designer, decorator, colour consultant, stylist?  But again break it down to the bare essentials of what you need and the task at hand. 

So let's have a look at how I can help. 

I aim to work with clients who want to create conceptually directed spaces, meaning I like to help my clients understand their style and the overall look and feel they are creating for their home. Even in my colour consultations understanding the overall look and feel of the space is important in getting the selections right. 

I aim to help people across a range of areas beginning with colour consultations. These consultations guide people through interior or exterior paint selections. Paint can give your home a new lease of life in a reasonably simple way or it can also be the finishing touch on a big renovation.

I offer Brainstorming Sessions which cover more areas of your renovations. I am finding that this is a very popular service as it helps my clients feel supported in their decisions during their renovations. It is a dedicated time to ask all those nagging questions, get clarity on your concept, and make sure that your choices are represented through your selections. This package allows you the freedom to engage me when you need me.

We then move into Selection Packages and Full Interior Design Services. All of these packages include the development of a clear and comprehensive concept which in turn allows the design of considered and beautiful spaces. These packages take the pressure off the client to source or find materials and finishes as this is left to me, the clients are shown how materials and colours will work together, taking away the stress of having to imagine what a space will look. The other key component to these packages is that you pay for my creativity and ideas, giving me the opportunity to design you a home that is unique to you and your family. 

I am also open to helping clients in other ways that fall outside of these packages.
